Welcome to 2023!!

The holiday flew by and many of the kiddos are back in school already. I hope you had a relaxing time with family, celebrating the things that matter most.

Time to REBOOT!!

A new year means a fresh start! developing those positive practicing habits that perhaps have been neglected over the past while. Set a time every day for practice….it doesn’t have to be the same time each day, just preferably a time that’s planned for ahead of time.

The “Christmas Practice Challenge” will be due on 2nd week of lessons in January. This was an optional activity but there will be prizes awarded for those that participate.

Each student will complete a “Looking Back and Moving Forward” goal setting activity at our first lesson back. We will refer to this in class throughout the rest of the semester to help keep us on track.

Winter/Spring Schedule: I’ve sent out a January-May schedule. I have found families are very busy in June (camping/outdoor sports etc) and consistent attendance is difficult. Student attention also wains considerably.

I will be offering lessons in JUNE for those that wish to extend into that month. (Benefits = less of a gap before September lessons).

Just a reminder that payment is due at or before the first lesson of the month. E-transfer is preferred.

Christmas Recital!

This MADE my Christmas…the very best part!! I am SO proud of all of these wonderful students!! We loved your gifts of music and can’t wait to hear more! Thank you to all the families for supporting these students as they prepared for this performance. Another big thank you for all your generous gifts for the Stollery Child Life Department!
